Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has officially submitted a transfer request to Atalanta.

Frustrated by the Serie A team’s rejection of multiple offers from Inter Milan, Lookman has chosen to push for a move by requesting to leave the club.

This development was confirmed on Sunday by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on X.

Romano wrote: “EXCL: Ademola Lookman has now handed in a transfer request.

“The Nigerian forward has officially asked Atalanta to leave the club after Italian side rejected Inter opening bid.

“Lookman wants to join Inter.”
