Adobe, a California-based software company, and the Adobe Foundation have announced a significant investment in the creative community, committing an additional $5 million to the Adobe Film & TV Fund and $1 million to support Los Angeles communities impacted by recent wildfires.
Launched last year with a $6 million commitment, the Adobe Film & TV Fund provides critical support to underrepresented creators and filmmakers, offering research and product assistance, fellowships, funding, and in-kind donations to help advance their careers. The fund will also offer mentorship, training, and career programs through the Group Effort Initiative.
In response to the recent wildfires in Los Angeles, the Adobe Foundation has awarded $1 million in grants to the California Community Foundation Wildfire Recovery Fund and the Entertainment Community Fund, providing vital support to affected creative communities.
“We’re passionate about empowering filmmakers to tell their stories and realize their creative vision,” said Ashley Still, senior vice president and general manager of Adobe Creative Cloud. “These innovations will bring time savings and career support, enabling filmmakers to focus on inspiring and captivating audiences worldwide.
