Following Monday’s matches, at least 21 nations have affirmed their attendance at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Morocco, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Algeria, Senegal, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Angola, Gabon, Uganda, and South Africa are among them.

Other countries include Equatorial Guinea, Cote d’Ivoire, Nigeria, Benin Republic, Comoros, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Mali, Zambia, and Tunisia.

This indicates that just three spots remain to be filled.

From December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, Morocco will host the 2025 AFCON.

Cote d’Ivoire, the reigning champions, defeated Nigeria 2-1 in the earlier this year’s final.
