Following his marriage to long-term partner Chioma Adeleke, singer David Adeleke, known as Davido, has disclosed that his priorities have changed.

In a recent episode of The Long Form podcast, Davido mentioned that he now prefers spending time at home with his family or FaceTiming with his wife while traveling, rather than going to clubs for leisure.

“Blowing up at a young age with freedom, power and money, I used to be very reckless. I used to go to the club everyday.

“But these days, I don’t even go to the clubs. I was in Nigeria for almost two months and I didn’t go out. I was just at home and I was having fun. I was just chilling in my studio, and inviting people to make barbecue for me. It was fun. And before you know it, it’s 3 am or 4:30 am. I just go home, call my wife, sleep off on FaceTime,” he expressed.

Davido, however, clarified that he still accepts gigs and party invitations from close friends.

He mentioned that he now gives precedence to sleep and family time rather than going out for fun.
