Elizabeth Olayemi, wife of the late gospel singer Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, popularly known as Toluwanisings, has made an emotional appeal to her deceased husband, asking him not to forget her and their children.
She made the plea on Tuesday evening during the late musician’s tribute night and service of songs.
The event, held on October 27, 2026, in Ibadan, Oyo State, attracted several prominent artistes.
Addressing attendees, Elizabeth broke down in tears as she spoke about her late husband, expressing her enduring love for him and pleading that he remember the family they shared.
Declaring how deeply she would miss him, she said, “Toluwanisings my dear husband, I will forever miss you. Please don’t forget your children and me.”
Her emotional tribute comes amid an ongoing disagreement between her and her late husband’s family over where he should be buried.
Reports circulating online indicate that Elizabeth opposed the family’s reported plan to bury the singer at their residence in Ibadan, maintaining that she would prefer for him to be laid to rest in a cemetery.
