AFCON 2025: Morocco coach, Regragui names team to win trophy

Morocco’s head coach, Walid Regragui, believes the team will win the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

He is hopeful about their chances of becoming champions as they prepare to face Cameroon in the quarterfinals.

Regragui, who has faced criticism from fans for his tactics, has stated that it will not be an easy game.

“We have the humility to believe that we can win this Cup of Nations,” Regragui told journalists.

“Cameroon needs no introduction. We know it’s going ‌to be tough again.”

If Regregui’s team defeats the Indomitable Lions in the last eight, they will face Nigeria or Algeria in the semi-finals.
