After Arsenal’s 2-1 victory against Chelsea on Sunday night, the Opta SuperComputer has published its newest forecasts for the Premier League title contest.

William Saliba put the Gunners ahead, but they were later equalized by an own goal from Piero Hincapié.

Nevertheless, Jurrien Timber scored with a header from Declan Rice’s corner to secure all three points for Mikel Arteta’s side.

Arsenal currently hold a five-point lead over Manchester City, having played one additional match.

As a result, Opta has assigned them an 83.26% probability of winning the championship this season, whereas Manchester City’s probability is now 16.6%.

Aston Villa suffered a 2-0 defeat against Wolves and now have a 0.08% chance of winning the title, while rejuvenated Manchester United sit at 0.02%.
