Victor Osimhen, the Super Eagles striker, was sighted exercising with the rest of the group on Wednesday.

Osimhen allegedly threatened to escape camp and return to his base in Turkey.

The Galatasaray striker got into an altercation on the pitch with teammate Ademola Lookman after a 4-0 win over Mozambique in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations last-16 match.

A day after the incident, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) stated that the situation had been addressed internally and that the team was focused on their quarter-final match.

Osimhen was part of the squad, which was in great spirits as they prepared for their next game against Algeria.
