AFCON: Ademola Lookman sends message to Nigerians after Super Eagles 3-2 win over Tunisia

Ademola Lookman, Super Eagles attacker, has given a message to Nigerian fans following their 3-2 victory over Tunisia on Saturday night.

Lookman assisted twice and scored once in the 3-2 victory over the Carthage Eagles, earning him Man of the Match honors.

Nigeria has advanced to the round of 16 with the win and now face Uganda in a game that is no longer important to the team.

Lookman has been great thus far in the competition, winning a game against Tanzania for Eric Chelle’s team.

Speaking after the game against Tunisia, Lookman said, “We’re in the right direction. I think today we’re outstanding from the first half into the second half, and then, you know, they had a spell in which they scored two goals.

“But apart from that, we were very good today.”

When asked whether he had any message for the Nigerian fans, he replied, “Keep supporting us.

“We really need you. So keep on being behind us. Keep on driving us and yeah, keep supporting us. Thank you.”
