AFCON: Osimhen sends strong message to Super Eagles teammates

Victor Osimhen, a Super Eagles striker, has challenged his teammates to compete for every ball ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which begins on Tuesday against Tanzania.

Osimhen also urged Eric Chelle’s team to strive for victory in every match as they hope to reach the 2025 AFCON final in Morocco.

“This AFCON is an opportunity for us to do well and try to make sure that we win the tournament,” Osimhen told Pooja Media.

“Of course, it is not going to be easy; we have to fight for every game, fight for every ball.

“We have to try to win every game and see if we can get to the final and win it.”

Osimhen will now attempt to lead the Super Eagles to victory in Morocco after finishing second in the previous edition in Ivory Coast.
