Air India Crash: Woman who missed deadly flight after arriving late shares what delayed her

After learning that the Air India plane crashed on Thursday just before takeoff, Bhoomi Chauhan, a woman who missed the journey, expressed her confusion.

Bhoomi arrived at Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Airport ten minutes late and was denied access to the aircraft.

Speaking to local media, Bhoomi said she was turned away from the boarding gates because she came late and called the disaster “completely terrifying.”

Shortly after being turned away, she found out about the crash. Bhoomi, who was traveling to London to meet up with her husband after visiting relatives in Ahmedabad, explained that she was delayed at the airport because of severe traffic.

As she put it:
‘’We arrived at the check-in gate 10 minutes late, but they didn’t allow me, and I returned.

‘‘They said that it would delay the flight further. I was late because of traffic in the Ahmedabad city area.

‘’I came to know that the flight had crashed, I was totally numb.

‘‘I thank my mother Goddess that I am safe, but the incident is absolutely terrifying.’’
