Aiyedatiwa wins Ondo APC governorship primary [Full Result]

Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the governor of Ondo State, has secured the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for governor.

The chairman of the Primary Election Committee, Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo, declared Aiyedatiwa the winner of the primaries.

Aiyedatiwa received the most votes (48,569), and the results were announced on April 20, about 48 hours after the contest began.

Mayowa Akinfolarin, Aiyedatiwa’s closest opponent, received 15,343 votes to take second place in the contentious and tense primary.

With 14,915 points, Olusola Oke finished third, and Jimoh Ibrahim took fourth place with 9,456 points.
