Alleged Naira abuse: Davido reacts to Cubana Chief Priest’s bail

The N10 million bail given to socialite Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest, after he entered a not-guilty plea to charges of naira abuse has prompted a response from singer Davido.

According to the ZINGTIE, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, charged Cubana Chief Priest on three counts related to the abuse of the Naira on Wednesday. After entering a not-guilty plea, the EFCC granted her bail of N10 million with two sureties in the same amount.

Shortly after being granted bail, the socialite thanked his friends and fans on his Instagram account.

The experience, he said, humbled him, but it also proved that he is not “small.”

Davido responded to his post in the comment area, stating that he could not stand to be separated from Cubana Chief Priest for six months and that he could not be put in jail.

He wrote, “I no go see u for 6 months ke… Never.”

Remember that popular crossdresser Bobrisky was found guilty of Naira mutilation on Friday and was sentenced to six months in prison without the possibility of a fine by Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos.
