Annie Idibia reveals her backbone after divorcing 2Face

Nigerian model and actress, Annie Macaulay Idibia, has emphasized that she does not take her “backbone” lightly.

Annie, who recently separated from her husband, 2Face Idibia, made this known during Sunday’s Headies Awards ceremony in Lagos.

When a reporter asked about her family, Annie responded that her two daughters are the only family she has.

She further referred to Isabella and Olivia, her daughters, as her “backbone.”

Speaking in pidgin, she said, “You mean my children? My children dey Kampe. The first one dey Yankee, she dey go school. No play with that girl o. I don’t play with my kids. Na them be my backbone.”

Annie grabbed attention at the event when she appeared to take a dig at 2Face while introducing herself on stage.

Introducing herself as single, she joked, “My name is Annie Idi oh sorry, Annie Macaulay. Hey, single ladies!”

This comes just a day after 2Face Idibia introduced his new partner, Natasha, to his mother.
