Islamic organizations in Kano State are currently demonstrating against Donald Trump’s recent attempts to get involved in the nation’s security situation.
On Saturday, demonstrators flocked to Nigeria to refute Trump’s allegations of Christian extermination.
Islamic groups in Kano State are currently protesting against recent moves by United States President, Donald Trump, to intervene in the country’s security crisis.
The protesters trooped out on Saturday to counter Trump’s claim of Christian genocide in Nigeria.
They were seen displaying placards with different inscriptions such as ‘We condemn Trump’s threat to attack Nigeria’, ‘There is no Christian genocide in Nigeria’, ‘America wants to control our resources’, amongst others.
They were saw holding signs with various words on them, such “We condemn Trump’s threat to attack Nigeria’, ‘There is no Christian genocide in Nigeria’, ‘America wants to control our resources’, amongst others.
According to the ZINGTIE, Trump recently named Nigeria a “Country of Particular Concern” due to claims that Christians are being persecuted there.
The US President then warned that the US military would step in if the Nigerian government did not stop the slaughter of Christians.
Since then, the Nigerian government has described the purported Christian genocide as untrue.
