APC appoints Abdulrahman Haske youth advisory committee chairman

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has named Abdulrahman Bashir Haske as the head of its Youth Advisory Committee ahead of the upcoming by-election for the Ganye State Assembly seat in Adamawa, scheduled for August 16, 2025.

His appointment was officially endorsed by the party’s National Vice Chairman for the North-East, Comrade Mustapha Salihu.

Haske is set to collaborate closely with members of the National Campaign Council Sub-Committee, which includes Hon. Nuruddeen Hamanyero, Barr. Dedan Pwadi Hoki, Dr. Tahir Abubakar Girei, Musa Terrang (PhD), Lamido Hamza Abdullah, and Salihu Mohammed Harbingiwa.

Additional members of the committee are Huzaifa Sanusi, Idris Zubairu Numan, Sa’adu Adamu Namtari, Hon. Khalil Sajo, Dauda Kushu, Isah Garba Mayo, Lukman D. Wise, Shehu Baba-Jacob, and Hon. Yakubu Bello Bashir.

Shortly after assuming his new role, Haske visited the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, who also serves as a key APC figure in Adamawa State. Their discussions focused on the by-election, party coordination, and strengthening grassroots political engagement. Haske also praised the NSA’s inclusive approach and accomplishments in office.

The APC reiterated its dedication to ensuring the by-election is peaceful, credible, and successful. The party also called on its members, supporters, and the public to back Haske and the Youth Advisory Committee in their efforts to fulfill this important national task.
