APC operates like cult, members act like zombies – Ex-presidential aspirant

Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, a former presidential candidate who campaigned on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has charged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) functions like an occult group.

According to Olawepo-Hashim, APC members act more like a cult than a political organization.

The PDP chairman told reporters in Abuja that APC members follow orders from one or two leaders like zombies.

Olawepo-Hashim maintained that the ruling party is devoid of internal democracy, philosophy, and a future-oriented vision for Nigeria.

“In the APC, one or two individuals hand down instructions for everyone else to obey like zombies. That is not a political party; it is a cult.

“They promised change, and indeed they brought change by dragging Nigeria’s GDP from over $570 billion in 2014 to less than $300 billion in 2025.

“They crashed GDP per capita from over $3,000 to below $1,000,” he said.
