Kabir Sani-Giant, a political and governance consultant to Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris, was immediately suspended by the All Progressives Congress (APC) for reportedly using a snake to frighten VIP guests at the Government House.

In Birnin Kebbi on Sunday, Sa’idu Muhammad-Kimba, the party secretary for Kebbi State, issued a statement announcing the suspension.

According to the allegation, on February 8, Sani-Giant brought a snake into Government House, which alarmed prominent guests. According to Muhammad-Kimba, such conduct can humiliate the party and damage its reputation.

He further underlined that Sani-Giant’s conduct were considered shameful and humiliating and that they violated the APC constitution.

While an investigation is underway, the party’s decision to suspend him will stand. Muhammad-Kimba further stated that disciplinary actions, such as expulsion from the party, might be taken if the offense is committed again.
