Nigerian artist, Ahmed Ololade, widely known as Asake, has confirmed his departure from YBNL Nation.

There had been rumors suggesting that Asake had left Olamide’s YBNL under controversial circumstances.

Asake made the confirmation by releasing his new track, ‘Why Love,’ under his own record label, Giran Republic.

Earlier, the singer showed respect for Olamide in his first single of the year, ‘Military,’ putting an end to rumors of any discord between them.

Asake signed with YBNL Nation in February 2022.

In July 2022, he entered into a distribution deal with Empire.

Even after leaving YBNL, Asake continues to honor his agreement with Empire.
