Rihanna flees Los Angeles hours after Beverly Hills shooting

Hours after a shooting incident at her Beverly Hills residence, Grammy-winning artist Rihanna departed Los Angeles on Monday.

The singer was spotted getting onto a private jet at Van Nuys Airport, while her bags were loaded into cars and taken to the airport’s private terminal.

The suspect has been identified by authorities as Ivanna Lisette Ortiz.

Reports indicate that Ortiz was taken into custody on Sunday for purportedly discharging a firearm multiple times at the residence of the international music icon and entrepreneur.

According to police, Ortiz showed up at the location in a Tesla, equipped with a semi-automatic rifle, and fired approximately ten shots at the residence she shares with her partner, A$AP Rocky.

While extra rounds hit the garage of a nearby house, investigators discovered four bullet holes in the estate’s gate.

Ortiz escaped the scene but was subsequently caught about 12 kilometers distant, and her car was found.

No injuries were reported in connection with the attack, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) confirmed.

Ortiz faces formal charges of attempted murder, while authorities persist in examining her motive.
