According to Former Real Madrid ace, Eden Hazard, for Kylian Mbappe to secure the 2026 Ballon d’Or, he must win the UEFA Champions League, the Spanish LaLiga title, and achieve a deep run with the France national team in the World Cup.
Hazard also conveyed assurance that Mbappe will secure a Ballon d’Or during his career, even if he does not win the esteemed individual award this year.
Mbappe has not yet secured a Ballon d’Or despite his illustrious career to date and has received multiple nominations in the past.
“Mbappé and Ballon d’Or? He will win Ballon d’Or,” Hazard said (via TeleFoot).
“He needs to win the Champions League… La Liga… or go far in the World Cup.
“But he will win a Ballon d’Or at some point, of course.”
Mbappe has shown remarkable performance for Real Madrid this season and is considered one of the leading contenders for this year’s Ballon d’Or.
To date, the French international has netted 30 goals in all competitions for Los Blancos.
