Yanshuni village residents in Katsina State’s Bakori Local Government Area have partially paid a bandit leader named Kwashen-garwa ₦7.5 million. This is among the ₦15 million “tax” that he levied against them.

The payment was made on Saturday night during a demonstration along the Bakori–Funtua route, the post claims.
According to Bakatsine, the bandit commander had asked the locals for ₦15 million.
