Polaris Bank has empowered youths from the Ajegunle community in Lagos through its support of the 2025 Maracana Children’s Fest. The event, which brought together over 3,000 primary and secondary school students, their families, and community leaders, was promoted by the Nathaniel Idowu Foundation.
“We are proud to support the Maracana Children’s Fest and contribute to such a meaningful community initiative,” said Rasheed Bolarinwa, Head of Brand Management & Corporate Communication at Polaris Bank, representing Managing Director Kayode Lawal.
The bank’s support for the event reflects its commitment to youth development and social inclusion. “This event allowed us to connect with the next generation and their families, promoting both youth development and financial inclusion,” Bolarinwa added.
Polaris Bank provided vital support to the event, including contributions to meals, palliative food packages, and functional mementoes distributed to participants and their families. The festival celebrated youth empowerment through sports, creativity, and community engagement, with dignitaries, including former Super Eagles players, in attendance
