Benue killings: Comedian Sabinus begs Nigerian Govt to intervene

Renowned comedian and online content creator, Sabinus, has made an appeal to the Federal Government and security authorities to urgently address the ongoing violence in parts of Benue State, reportedly carried out by suspected herdsmen militia.

Speaking out against the rising death toll, Sabinus emphasized the importance of protecting the lives of Benue residents, describing the killings as deeply troubling.

During a video appearance alongside his content team, he warned that if decisive action is not taken soon, the violence could escalate and spread to neighboring states.

He said, “Our government and all the relevant security agencies, we are begging you to intervene in the ongoing killings in Benue State. Every life matters. Please, take urgent action to salvage the situation.

“We have been hearing of the killings, but it doesn’t make sense. We don’t know where it will happen next. We can be victims, too. Please, government intervene. Go and help the Benue State people. They need urgent help.”
