Controversial online figure Verydarkman has sparked widespread reactions following his remarks about Benue State, which he described as the least developed state he has ever visited.

In a widely circulated video shared after his recent trip, the influencer remarked, “Benue is still in the year 1940. It is the most underdeveloped state I have ever been to.”

He further criticized the state’s poor infrastructure and growing insecurity, arguing that such conditions are a major deterrent for potential investors. According to him, the combination of deteriorating roads and safety challenges continues to hinder meaningful development in the region.

“Investors can’t come because of bad roads and insecurity.

“I’m currently drilling a borehole in Yelwata, but the people can’t continue the work because they are afraid of being killed,” he said.
