EPL: Maresca breaks silence on leaving Chelsea for Man City

Enzo Maresca, Chelsea manager, has denied reports linking him with a move to Manchester City.

Maresca is thought to be a major contender for the City post, amid speculation that this could be Guardiola’s final season at the Etihad.

However, the Italian has claimed that he is only focused on his current role at Stamford Bridge.

“Man City links? It’s 100% speculation. No time for that,” Maresca told reporters on Friday.

“I have a contract here at Chelsea until 2029.

“My focus is just on this club and I am proud to be here.

“It’s important to understand why this news was there but it is just speculation.”
