Simon Ekpa, an advocate for Biafra, has reiterated his appeal for an end to the militarisation of the area.

The demand was stated in a message released on Saturday by Ekpa, the Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government In-Exile, on his official X account.

He advised anyone who he claimed was ordered to murder and terrorise Biafran people to avoid the area.

Ekpa restated the demand for the demilitarisation of Biafraland in order to establish enduring peace.

“Recall all security forces serving Nigeria within Biafraland and killing our people in Biafraland.

“Those of you still killing our people in Biafraland, you may not be this lucky,” he said.

This happens on the same day that Ekpa declared December 2, 2024, to be Biafra Declaration Day.

But the Nigerian government has promised to bring him back from his base in Finland.
