In spite of the nation’s economic suffering, Biafra agitator Simon Ekpa has persuaded Nigerians to support Biafra once more.

This was revealed by Ekpa, the Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile, in a widely shared video in which Igbo people were shown registering to get Biafran National Identity Cards.

Reacting, Ekpa mocked the Nigerian Government, noting that obtaining a Biafra ID card was easier and more reliable than that of Nigeria.

“Biafrans all over the world are happy and identifying with the Biafra government because that is the only hope for a better future.

“Compare this with Nigeria and see the difference. No ‘mago mago’, we are setting the standard”, he posted.

This occurs as individuals in Nigeria struggle to acquire their National Identity Number.

Remember that out of an estimated 250 million people, only 109 million had received the number, according to the NIMC.

On December 2, 2024, BRGIE recently announced that it would support the Biafra Declaration.

The Indigenous People of Biafra’s leader, Nnamdi Kanu, was detained after being re-arrested by the Nigerian government in 2021.
