Bobrisky: Falz sends fresh threat to VeryDarkMan

Popular social media critic VeryDarkMan has received a warning from Nigerian singer and activist Folarin Falana, better known by his stage name Falz, that he will get the trouble he seeks.

Falz made this statement while discussing the ongoing legal dispute between VeryDarkMan and himself for the first time.

According to ZINGTIE, the legal dispute started after a voice tape of crossdresser Bobrisky was leaked. In it, he described how Falz and his father, human rights attorney Femi Falana, allegedly approached him regarding a N10 million presidential pardon while he was serving a six-month jail sentence for naira abuse.

The audio that VeryDarkMan posted on social media elicited a range of responses from online users.

In response to the criticism, Falz stated in a lawsuit that Bobrisky was the one who contacted him to seek financial assistance.

Falz, however, pointed out that VeryDarkMan had no evidence to support his claims in a now-trending appearance on the Afro Beats podcast on Wednesday.

The musician expressed disapproval of VeryDarkMan’s lack of a public apology and promised to give him the trouble he seeks.

“When I reached out to him over the audio, this guy was instantly defensive from the beginning; I’m like bro, try and listen. What are you instantly fighting about?

“And he said without mincing words, ‘shebi you are a lawyer, you can go to court’.

“I will have him know that there is a criminal angle to defamation, but I chose not to go that way. He could have been arrested because what you posted is absolutely false and I need you to take it down and tender an apology within a certain amount of time and what did he do? Nothing.

“I don’t know if it portrays him as a hero. He didn’t apologise, and people are trying to peddle me as an oppressor. So if you say you want to find trouble, that is my work. If you insist that’s what you are looking for, let’s go.”
