Nnamdi Kanu, a Biafra nation activist, has finally cooperated with the Federal High Court in Abuja’s order to defend himself against the Federal Government’s terrorist accusations.
Judge James Omotosho has instructed Kanu to file his defense documents within the courtroom.
The judge ordered that the court’s registry be temporarily moved to his courtroom in order to facilitate the filing after Kanu filed a number of complaints.
Adegboyega Awomolo, the Federal Government’s attorney, told the court that he would accept Kanu’s procedures in the courtroom and react appropriately.
The judge had halted proceedings for an hour while the defense materials were being filed at the time of this report.
Up until now, Kanu had consistently refused to begin his defense, demanding to be presented the precise terrorist statute that he is accused of breaking.
