BREAKING: Russian flag: Shehu Sani discloses plots to overthrow Tinubu’s govt

Former federal lawmaker Senator Shehu Sani said that there was a plot to overthrow President Bola Tinubu’s government, which is why protesters in Kano, Zamfara, and some other northern states were flying the Russian flag.

According to ZINGTIE, some EndBadGovernance protesters have raised concerns over foreign flags being flown in the northern states.

Protesters flying the Russian flag and demanding military rule over Nigeria were shown in many video footage.

Numerous people connected to the case have been arrested by agents of the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), and other security organisations.

Shehu Sani, who spoke about the incident on Channels Television’s program on Tuesday, claimed that it was an attempt by some elements to overthrow the government.

He said, “A day before the last protest, money was shared to the youths, and Russian flags were also shared.

“That shows that the whole intent of the protest is not simply about the policies and programmes of the government.

“There was an attempt to create an atmosphere where there would be an overthrow of the government.

“When you have this kind of situation, you will see that someone is writing a script for anarchy, lawlessness, and disorder. It is incumbent for someone like us to speak.”
