Susie Wiles, a seasoned Republican strategist, has been appointed as the White House chief of staff by US President-elect Donald Trump.

Wiles served as Trump’s campaign manager and is largely acknowledged for having led the most organised and successful campaign in Trump’s history.

When Trump celebrated his victory on Wednesday, he specifically thanked Wiles for her significant contribution to the campaign.

He claimed that Wiles is universally regarded and admired and that she is tough, intelligent, and creative.

“Susie Wiles just helped me achieve one of the greatest political victories in American history, and was an integral part of both my 2016 and 2020 successful campaigns.

“It is a well deserved honor to have Susie as the first-ever female Chief of Staff in United States history. I have no doubt that she will make our country proud,” Trump said.
