BREAKING: What to expect as Service chiefs, Senators meet in closed-door session

The probe into the killing of 17 troops in the Delta State community was brought before the Senate Joint Committee, which is made up of Army, Navy, Defense, and Air Force chiefs, on Wednesday.

Recall that on Thursday, in the Okuama community in the Ughelli South Local Government Area, some military personnel who were on a peacekeeping assignment in the state were ambushed and killed.

The joint committee chairman, Ahmed Lawan, revealed that the investigative hearing will occur behind closed doors due to the delicate nature of the subject.

Details to come.
