In Aba, Abia State, a female passenger was found dead inside a moving tricycle known as Keke NAPEP.
The incident, which occurred Tuesday evening opposite the Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic entrance at Railways Junction Aba, left the locals stunned and perplexed.
As of Tuesday evening, it was discovered that the woman, whose name was still unknown, was traveling to the city’s Railway Junction, which is close to Ezeukwu Road, on a commercial tricycle called Keke Napep.
It was also learned that the woman was being transported in a tricycle, but when she reached her destination, the tricycle operator became alarmed upon seeing her unconscious.
By Wednesday morning, some Aba locals who responded to the widely shared photo of the incident on social media recognized her as “Auntie Love,” a teacher and secretary at a well-known Aba school.
However, neither the police nor any other government agency had yet to formally establish the victim’s true identity or place of abode.
At the time of this report, DSP Maureen Chinaka, the Abia State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, has not responded to a message asking her to confirm the occurrence.
