Celtic, the Scottish Premiership giants, are the most recent club to be connected with Sevilla forward, Kelechi Iheanacho.

Iheanacho is familiar to Celtic manager, Brendan Rodgers, as the two previously worked together at Leicester City.

Reports suggest that Celtic are looking into a loan deal with an option to buy in the summer.

The Nigerian international joined Sevilla on a free transfer during the summer.

The 28-year-old was named among the substitutes in Sevilla’s 0-0 draw against Getafe on Saturday.

He has made nine appearances in the league for the Rojiblancos.

Manager Garcia Pimienta has made it clear that Iheanacho will be allowed to leave the club this month.
