Chelsea announce three-year deal for forward Runham

Frankie Runham, a forward, signed a new three-year contract with Chelsea on Saturday.

The Premier League west London club congratulated the 18-year-old on the deal in a statement posted on their website.

“Frankie Runham has signed a new three-year contract with Chelsea. Congratulations, Frankie,” Chelsea’s statement read.

Runham has progressed through the younger ranks of the Blues, having joined at the age of eight.

He debuted for the under-18 team in the 2022–2023 season.

Runham was a mainstay for Chelsea’s Under-18 team in the last season, and he was instrumental in both their Under-17 Premier League Cup victory and their Premier League South title success.
