Nigerian music icon David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, and his wife, Chioma, have moved many with a deeply emotional interaction on Instagram.

Chioma, who had maintained a low profile on social media following the heartbreaking loss of their son, Ifeanyi, in 2022, made a return on Thursday with a touching tribute.

She posted an image of her wedding bracelet, which carries a picture of Ifeanyi, alongside a heartfelt caption referring to him as her “best friend” who walked with her into forever.

“My best friend walked into me forever, Ify, you’re on my mind every day and you live in my heart. Always and forever. Love, Mummy,” she wrote.

Davido replied with a short but powerful message: “Till Infinity.”

The exchange quickly drew emotional reactions from fans and supporters, who praised the couple for their strength and expressed solidarity as they continue to heal from their loss.

Ifeanyi tragically passed away in October 2022 following a drowning accident at the singer’s Banana Island home in Lagos.

Chioma’s recent post marks a meaningful moment, as she had largely stayed off social platforms since the tragedy.
