Christmas: Tinubu fresh promises on more interventions to lessen hardship

According to President Bola Tinubu, his administration would keep putting more palliative measures into place to lessen the suffering brought on by the elimination of the petrol subsidy.

In addition, he promised to set Nigeria on a course for “irreversible progress.”

In his first Christmas address to Nigerians as president, Tinubu said, “My administration will continue to implement palliative measures to ease the burden on the most vulnerable, address current hardships, and alleviate the suffering of all our nation’s people.”

The President admitted that the nation had undergone constant change throughout the first half of his presidency.

He said, “I am aware that the necessary reforms we are implementing to achieve a more prosperous, peaceful nation for all have imposed unique sacrifices.”

In keeping with the Christmas spirit, Tinubu also called for Nigerians to show generosity and warmth to people in their community who are in need.
