Coalition: Haters trying to overthrow Tinubu – Presidency

On Tuesday, Bayo Onanuga, President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, claimed that “haters of Nigeria’s progress” had banded together to topple the president.

According to Onanuga, Tinubu’s administration was the most transformative and concentrated in Nigeria’s history.

Tinubu’s changes are starting to change the country, according to the presidential aide.

He recalled that Muhammad Sanusi II, the Emir of Kano, had warned in 2022 that Tinubu’s reforms would not be simple.

According to Onanuga, Tinubu’s reforms are justified by Sanusi’s warning.

Any administration that promises easy prosperity is deceiving the people, Sanusi has warned.

In a post on X on Tuesday, Onanuga wrote: “Emir Sanusi warned Nigerians what to expect from President Tinubu’s reforms. ‘It’s not going to be easy.’

“If anybody tells you it would be easy, don’t vote for him.’

“Just two years after Tinubu began implementing the reforms, the haters of Nigeria’s progress are banding together to overthrow an administration that has been the most focused, most transformative in our history.”

Onanuga’s statement coincide with the formation of an opposition group that has embraced the African Democratic Congress’s agenda in an attempt to unseat Tinubu in the 2027 election.
