SamdechNG, Nigeria’s leading camera gear and equipment brand, recently hosted a high-impact training event, Creators Workshop 101, which brought together over 60 young content creators in Lagos for a day of practical learning and digital storytelling.

The free workshop, held on May 17, 2025, at Digiverse Studios, was delivered in partnership with TheKreativo Consultancy & Media Agency, Digiverse Studios, and Canon Nigeria. Facilitators Adebisi Peters and KaganTech guided participants through sessions on interview framing, lighting, sound design, and content monetisation.

Many participants walked away with new knowledge, practical skills, and professional gear. “I won a Godox SL60 and an RGB light. Lighting has always been a challenge for me, but now my content will be 10x better,” said Chukwuma Armstrong.

SamdechNG aims to bridge the gap in Nigeria’s creator economy by providing access to professional tools and industry knowledge. “Our mission is to democratise access to creative tools and knowledge… You shouldn’t have to break the bank to tell powerful stories,” the brand said.

With more editions planned, SamdechNG is set to become a driving force in transforming Nigeria’s content creation landscape.
