UCL: Osimhen tops Player of the Match standings

Galatasaray striker, Victor Osimhen currently leads the Player of the Match standings in this season’s UEFA Champions League.

Osimhen holds the record for the most Man of the Match awards in the competition, having won four.

In Galatasaray’s recent match against Serie A powerhouse Juventus in Turin last month, the Nigerian secured the award for the fourth time.

The prolific forward has scored seven goals in eight appearances in this season’s Champions League.

On Tuesday night, Galatasaray will host Liverpool in the first leg of their Round of 16 clash at RAMs Park.

In the ongoing season, Kylian Mbappé, Harry Kane, Erling Haaland, Charles de Ketelaere, Anthony Gordon, Sandro Tonali, and Trincao have each secured the award three times.
