Al Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo is now 69 goals away from reaching the 1,000-goal milestone.
However, the 40-year-old has emphasized that he’s not obsessed with achieving this feat.
Ronaldo scored twice in Al Nassr’s 3-1 victory over Al-Hilal on Friday night, helping his team close the gap to just three points behind their rivals.
Speaking after the game, Ronaldo said: “Lads, let’s enjoy the moment. I’m not chasing 1,000.
“If it happens, perfect. If it doesn’t happen, it doesn’t happen. The moment is the most special thing, not what is going to come, you know.”
Ronaldo has now scored 30 goals across all competitions for Al Nassr in the 2024-25 season, meaning he would need to maintain this level of performance for another two seasons to reach the milestone.
