Davido and Asa are scheduled to take the stage during the opening ceremony of the 2025 National Sports Festival (NSF).

Their performances are set for 5:00 p.m. today, Sunday, May 18, at the kickoff event taking place in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The announcement was made earlier today by Bukola Olopade, Director General of the National Sports Commission, via a post on X.

Olopade wrote; “This is our own Olympics and the festival must portray that global feel in both competition and organisation.

“The National Sports Commission and Ogun State Government have put up a world class event to mark the opening ceremony later today by 5:00 pm.

“Two of Nigeria’s top Music icons, Davido and Asa will be performing at the MKO Sports Arena.”

The 22nd edition of the event, themed ‘Gateway Games,’ will be officially inaugurated by Vice President Kashim Shettima.
