Davido to perform at AFCON 2025 official kick-off concert

Davido, the Afrobeats singer, will be one of the headliners of the Africa Cup of Nations’ official kickoff event in 2025.

Other artists scheduled to perform at the event include French Montana, Douaa Lahyaoui, Says’z, and Lartiste.

The Olm Souissi Fan Zone in Rabat will host the concert on Saturday.

It will be available to spectators with Fan IDs and match tickets.

Davido previously performed at the AFCON 2017 opening ceremony, the 2022 FIFA World Cup draw in Doha, and the 2023 Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) awards.

The AFCON 2025 finals will begin on Saturday with the opening game between hosts Morocco and the Comoros at Rabat’s Stade Prince Moulay Abdallah.
