Afrobeats icon David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, expressed heartfelt emotions in a moving vow to his wife, Chioma Adeleke, during their white wedding ceremony held in Miami.

The artist spoke deeply about their journey, highlighting a bond that has endured challenges and grown even stronger. He reflected on how Chioma quietly entered his life and eventually became its most vibrant and cherished part.

“This is the most nervous I’ve ever been. You are my love, my peace. You walked into my life quietly and became the loudest and most beautiful part of it. God sent you to show me what unconditional love feels. We’ve known love only people can dream of, and pain only we can understand, and we are still here. I promise to protect you,” Davido said.

The Miami ceremony marked the couple’s third official celebration. Their union began with a quiet court wedding in March 2023, followed by a lavish traditional ceremony in Lagos in June 2024.

The latest celebration reportedly came with a staggering price tag of $3.7 million, placing it among the year’s most opulent celebrity events.

The star-studded affair was attended by an elite guest list, featuring top figures from the Nigerian entertainment industry, business world, and politics — including industrialist Aliko Dangote, nightlife mogul Obi Cubana, and Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke.

Their pre-wedding celebration, themed “Havana Night,” was equally extravagant, with live performances from top artists such as Zlatan, Adekunle Gold, and B-Red.
