The Department of State Services (DSS) has refuted claims circulating about an ongoing recruitment exercise.

According to the agency, the information being spread is not true and should be dismissed by the public.

One such claim suggested that the agency was accepting applications for roles such as electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and mechanics.

It was also alleged that the supposed recruitment targeted individuals with primary and secondary school qualifications.

However, through a message shared on its official X account on Wednesday, the DSS urged citizens to disregard any announcements about a recruitment drive.

The post read: “The public is advised to ignore any misleading or false information about the service’s recruitment process. Disregard such claims, please.”
