The Department of State Services (DSS) headquarters is now the site of Nnamdi Kanu’s trial. Kanu is the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

Kanu’s trial was transferred from the Abuja Federal High Court to the DSS headquarters by order of Justice James Omotosho.

The trial judge stated that in order to examine Kanu’s shipping container, the matter was transferred to the DSS headquarters.

According to reports, Kanu used the container to transport a radio transmitter into Nigeria so that Radio Biafra could broadcast it.

Due to his advocacy for Biafra’s actualization, the IPOB leader is presently on trial for terrorism.
