Super Eagles head coach, Éric Chelle, has made two adjustments to his squad ahead of Nigeria’s international friendly against Russia.
Midfielder John Otomewo and defender Vince Osuji have been brought into the squad to replace captain Wilfred Ndidi and Akpe Victory, who are both unavailable for the encounter.
Otomewo recently joined French Ligue 2 club Stade de Reims from Israeli Premier League side Hapoel Jerusalem.
Osuji, on the other hand, currently plays for Norwegian club Tromsø after leaving Belgian side Club Brugge.
The duo will be looking to earn their first appearances for the Super Eagles when Nigeria take on Russia at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium next Tuesday.
Nigeria and Russia last faced each other in June 2025, with both teams settling for a 1-1 draw at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
