EndBadGovernance: Gov Uzodinma finally reveals those sponsoring the protest

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma claimed that President Bola Tinubu has dismantled the cabals that were exploiting the nation’s resources.

Uzodinma claimed that despite profiting from Nigeria’s resources, the cabals were funding the current nationwide protest against Tinubu.

The governor complimented the people of the Southeast for abstaining from the nationwide protest in a statement he released on Friday.

Uzodinma emphasised that Tinubu has demonstrated a willingness to tackling the issues confronting the nation, while acknowledging that citizens have the right to peaceful protest.

According to the governor: “I commend our people of the South Eastern region for heeding our appeal not to join the nationwide protest. Your wisdom in recognizing the potential danger of hijackers targeting peaceful demonstrators is truly commendable.

“While peaceful protest is undoubtedly a right of the people, your decision to prioritize safety and stability showcases great prudence.

“It is unfortunate that those who contributed to our current economic challenges are now the ones sponsoring protests instead of working with FG for resolution.

“This reaction comes simply because we have a President who is courageous enough to dismantle the entrenched cabal exploiting our common resources.”
