Nationwide protest: North was deceived – Adamu Garba

A leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamu Garba, claimed on Friday that the North is being used to justify rallies against the nation’s poor governance during the ongoing nationwide demonstrations against it.

Northern influencers driving the movement, according to Garba, ought to understand that they are being used to undermine own Commonwealth.

“The North is played into this protest of vandalism. Those northern influencers pushing for this protest should by now, realize that they have been used to destroy their commonwealth,” he posted on X.

Some Nigerians are reportedly staging a nationwide protest that will last from August 1 to August 10, 2024, according to ZINGTIE.

Protest organisers have lamented the nation’s rampant hunger and inflation.
